Bite the Bullet and Use a Different Sports Broadcaster

We know Sky Sports is the epitome of Sporting TV and good game watching, but sometimes knowing other places to find live matches and putts at better prices is gold. Let’s take a look at other common sports providers available to us Brits:

BBC Sports Earlier

We mentioned Sky Sports being one of the biggest providers of sport. However, the biggest and most popular is BBC Sport. BBC Sport covers every sport you can think of from the classics like football to the new Olympic entries like climbing. And, when you only have to pay your monthly TV license for access (which you should pay anyway), it can be £12 per month well spent.

Amazon Prime

Recently, Amazon stepped-up their game to provide viewers with the ultimate watching experience. With the Amazon Prime membership of just £7.99 per month with your first month free, you have free-reign of all sporting fixtures. The best thing about Amazon Prime’s subscription is having access to international sports, too. For example; The US Open.

BT Sports

Looking at the BT Broadband website to find deals to get your hands on, you might find yourself saving in more than the sports TV section. Often, BT offers deals to allow you to design your package. With phone, TV, broadband and all the sport you could want wrapped-up in one place. And, the sport is free.

At the time of writing, BT are offering BT Big Sport that allows you to bask in a Sky Sports no subscription service.

This is because your contract of £20 per month for 24-months covers you for the NOW TV app with all 11 Sky Sports channels included.


At the price of just £39.99 for the year, £4.99 a month for 12-months, or £6.99 for a one-off month, you can watch sports online anywhere. This sports- dedicated service covers most sports you can think of.
