There are benefits to converting your Nectar points so you can spend them on eBay, and there are also downsides:

The Benefits

The benefits include being able to buy from a wider range of retailers than you otherwise could do. You can buy secondhand items too, so you might get much better value for your money than you otherwise might do if buying in-store.

Third party eBay sellers sell such a huge variety of categories and have special offers that aren’t available in the shops, that changing your Nectar points for voucher codes often makes a lot of sense.

The Downside

The downside of swapping Nectar points for eBay voucher codes is that if you’ve placed a multi-item order, and then need to return only one part of the order, you can kiss your Nectar points goodbye.

eBay can only re-issue a new voucher if the whole order is returned, so this is well worth remembering before you part with your hard earned points!
